So I was about to order some 18'' rims for my 1LE... Havnt decided between C6 Z06, C5, C6, OR C6ZR1s yet... I like them all in chrome/polished lol... but my hang up is how dinky might my stock rotors and brakes look behind them.... Thankfully I do have a 1LE so my front rotors are a little bigger. I just cant find a good pic of an 18inch rim where u can see 1le brakes behind them... I know I can always upgrade later but not in a hurry to do so... So does anyone have a pic, or what is yalls opinions... will the brake size be proportional enough vs the rim size... I was gonna run 17s, but the stlyes I like have more offerings in 18s... thanks for the input...

 

Personally i think it would look fine. Your talking only half an inch difference all the way around (1 inch in diameter) between a 17 and a 18. I dont think half an inch is going to be the make it or break it to looking out of place. Now if you were going to put 19s or 20s (puke!) then id say your brakes would look tiny.
