E-Brake cable issue!

I got rear disk brake swap and i dont have the ebrake connected. Problem is it now dangles on top of the rotating drive shaft not weight bearing but scratching.

Is there a way to remove the ebrake cable from within the car?

Re: E-Brake cable issue!

Remove the console, and underneath there follow the ebrake cable connected to the handle until you find (probably under the carpet) the cable leads to a somwehat big rubber plug (if it's still intact). Remove the plug and pull the cable through.,
