C7 Brakes on 3rd Gen, It Is Possible???

Just as the title says and assuming larger wheels are in the recipe, what else would it be needed for C7 calipers and rotors to be fitted into 3rd gens???

Here are my thread and another member's thread on swapping the base C7 calipers. As with all swaps you need modified spindles and caliper brackets to make it work. When I did the swap you needed to either shim the standard hubs or run 1LE hubs in order to get the correct caliper/rotor alignment. Check out http://bigbrakeupgrade.com/C7.htm for more info. Scott was great to work with.

make the stock rotors into hubs, cut off the stock caliper mounting ears, tap the dust shield mounting holes to a bigger size, and make simple brackets to bolt the calipers to the spindles..

easy..

If you are going to go with a brake upgrade then I highly suggest you go through Scott at bigbrakeupgrade.com.

He set me up with C6 Z51 front brakes and I couldn't be happier.
