I have a clicking noise coming from my front driver side wheel. As soon as I apply any pressure to the brakes it stops. The faster I drive the faster the clicking is. Brake pads, rotors, calipers, bearings, and entire front suspension is new. I thought maybe lose brake pads so I made some adjustments and got them as tight as possible so there is no play and the noise is still there. Any ideas? I'm stumped I can't figure it out, it's only the one side

 

Is there a rock stuck in the tire tread?

 

No I already ruled out that out

 

How rusty is the rotor, the pad could be hitting a really crusty part of the rotor.

 

Even though it's in a manual someplace, no one does it; did you squeeze the little ears of the outboard pad to get it to grip the caliper a bit tighter?

Are you using shims behind the pads? Red goop?

Is the dust cap bent/smashed? Is it fully seated in the hub?

Could the cotter pin be catching on the inside of the dust cap?

 

Yes I squeezed the tabs and used brake grease. Everything seams to be in good shape I replaced it all a couple months ago. I'm not using shims behind the pads tho, just put the pads in the way they came from summit

 

Check the wheel bearings on that side. They can start to click when bad.
