9-bolt PBR caliper upgrade

Can someone please confirm for me that on a PBR caliper rear end BOTH calipers are mounted to the rear of the axle? I can only seem to find pics of conversions for the driver's side.

Here is a terrible photo showing the pass side of the PBR system.

Re: 9-bolt PBR caliper upgrade

I would like to upgrade to the PBR as the crappy stock ones keep leaking on me. What's involved in upgrading to the PBR's? New backing plates I assume? Currently have the staggered caliper older 9 bolt set up.

9- and 10-bolt braking systems are the same:

Re: 9-bolt PBR caliper upgrade

Pretty sure he's got the 82-88 Iron calipers as mounted on the pre-89 9-bolt.

P.S.

** 89 9-Bolt Backing plates are side-specific. Notice that the outer "LIP" is facing the pumpkin:

Re: 9-bolt PBR caliper upgrade

The 9 Bolt PBR had dust shields? My 10 Bolt doesn't have them, but the calipers have round dampeners on the parking brake mechanism...

The 1st half of them did, then the tsb for brake moan with light pedal psi while backing up came out. After that came the bracket redesign, it became thicker with a wrap around lip to stiffen it and lost the shields. Like the 10bolt bracket.
