Calipers with pads that drop in from the top?

Calipers with pads that drop in from the top?
Has anyone done a conversion to use these style of calipers? The car is a road racing car only. I am looking at doing the C5 swap, but would like to be able to pull pads quick. I don't want to buy a high end kit from Brembo or Wilwood, its a 24 Hours of Lemons car. I think the C3's had that type, but I'm, getting the best brakes I can, quick change comes second.

Wilwood forged superlite internal crossovers....about 175$ each from summit or jegs brand new.
Be careful with simple banana brackets and hard use (racing)...they have broken occasionally.

Our car started out as LeMons back in 07 and now runs WRL.
Daytona with that car earlier this year: http://www.witchdoctormotorsports.com/ch264.htm

That's awesome, except now I have a thousand questions for you about road racing a 3rd gen. it looks like you're running 16x8 rims/tires? What width & ratio are you using? I was going to try 17" as the tires are more common now. Everyone seems to use the Falken Azenas. For Lemons, we're advised to use factory type struts, but I'm looking for the next step up that doesn't look like a race shock. How much stiffening have you done to the chassis/suspension? I'm looking at using a soft spring and fat sway bar set up. I think they use #750 front and #500 in the back?

Only a thousand questions? LOL
Yeah, I built SCCA A-Sedans back in the early 90s which were all 3rd gen camaros with 400hp 305s on 16x8 wheels and 1LE brakes. Fun. Ran FStock for ages in my 92 1LE/B4c car, still have it as a daily driver.
The car above is on 17x9.5 C5z fronts (or C4 sawblades of the same size) using our brake adapter kit and wilwoods. We run the 275.40.17 or the 255.40.17, in dunlop, hankook, falken and the newer Firehawk Indy500 (which is a rebadged Bridgestone Adrenalin). Several of the "255" size tires run really big and are nearly the width of the 275s. We've run Nittos too but they were not liked by any of our drivers. Azenis are not the fastest (but faster than a nitto for sure) but they are durable and you can overdrive them and they come back. If you cannot run a race strut, then a Bilstein b6 is the most heavy duty "normal" strut there is. Much better than a parts-store replacement.
A good cage, tied into the proper spots and sub frame connectors and the car is stiff enough for 200tw tires or slicks. Don't start with a t-top car.
Pm me if you want more info. I'm in Texas.
