Car: 88 Iroc-Z Convertible
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Time for New Brakes. 88 Iroc.

Got the car fired up yesterday and pulled it out of the garage. Definitely due for brakes this year.

Somehow, my nearly fully loaded Iroc-Z Convertible snuck through the assembly line without the rear disc option.... Briefly considered a Disc conversion, but this is a weekend cruiser and while an engine upgrade will be in its future, but it will never be a racecar of any sort so I'll stick with the drums.

I perfectly comfortable with doing all the work myself, but ran into an head scratch-er while on rock auto.

It asking me if I have a Metric or SAE inlet. How do I figure this out?

I'm assuming everything is stock or OEM replacements.

Being 30 years old at this point, how much should I replace? Do the brake lines hold up or should I be replacing all of those as well? the car has been Garage kept and has not seem any snow and very little rain so the undercarriage is very clean.

82-83 are SAE.. for the most part 84 is metric aside from a few early production cars. 85-92 is all metric.
