For Sale: 1987 Camaro IROC-Z Coupe-
Originally a 305 TPI, 5 speed, 9 bolt, T-Top car. Now has the following:
Motor - N/A (has been removed)
Transmission - T56 6 speed manual out of a 97 T/A. Hurst shifter and Valeo OEM plus clutch. Spohn crossmember.
Rear End - Currie 9" with 3.70 gears and disc brakes. LS1 aluminum driveshaft.
Suspension - adjustable shocks, Spohn adjustable rear LCA's and tubular adjustable Torque Arm (crossmember mounted), & weld in subframe connectors.
The paint is about 6 years old and is in excellent shape. The car has NO RUST (stored winters), and no dings or dents. The IROC wheels have been professionally refinished and have TOYO tires with about 60% tread left. The weatherstripping is in excellent shape. The hood is a bolt on Harwood 2.5" IROC Daytona Turbo hood. I had the ovals on the sides of the cowl professionally fiberglassed in.
Car has a complete AutoMeter Ultra-Lite gauge cluster with 160MPH speedo and 10 grand tach over carbon fiber look backing. It also has a bolt in roll cage and custom Z28 floor mats. Seats are leather out of a 97 Camaro SS. Leather wrapped Grant GT steering wheel. CD player out of a late 3rd gen. Camaro. Has Dynamat soundproofing behing door panels, etc. and still has the following factory options - PW, PL, P. Mirrors, overhead console, P. drivers seat. I removed the A/C for space under the hood and the cruise is not hooked up. Before the build this car had less than 100K miles on it and the drivetrain currently has only about 1,000 miles on it. Drop in your own motor and exhaust system and hit the road! Asking $5000.00
This car is always stored in the garage. This is one of the cleanest 3rd gen F-bodies you'll ever see guaranteed. When I bought the transmission from American Camaro & Firebird out of Oklahoma they told me it had about 70K miles on it. The motor has about 1500 miles on it. The motor has not been dynoed but when I called TPIS to have the chip burned I told them all the specs and they told me it should be between 450 and 500HP.
Deimos140 - At the moment I still want to try and sell the car as a complete package.

I'm probably going to remove the fuel injection setup on the coupe. If you're interested in a nice complete polished Holley Stealth Ram fuel injection set up let me know because it might be coming off when I take the car out of storage. It will include everything - intake, plenum, throttle body, fuel rails, injectors, etc.
