I bought this 91 z28 a few years ago in Kansas as a project car because I just moved down there on my own. Since getting laid off I moved back to Michigan with the Parents and my dad wants it gone. Drove it around down there, than 1000 miles to MI and use it on nice days around here. So its pretty dependable.


Good: 305 TPI Car Runs and Drives Good. Tranny shifts good. Very little rust underneath, except for rear passenger quater panel which has whole where the spare sat. New set of american racing rims. Interior is decent and Dash has no cracks. You might see this beauty in the movie "Machine Gun Preacher" as she was parked in a scene right in front of the cameras. They kept telling me where to put the "Trans am". haha. In reality they wanted it in the shot because it was the junkist looking car there, and the scene was to take place in a small somewhat low income town.

Bad: Pictures make the car look better than it is. Mismatch panels. There are about 3 different shades of blue on the car. Doors are saggy. Salvage title from Kansas (theres a sticker on the drivers door jam) however the DMV in Michigan gave me a clean title. Convertible top needs work. A bolt sheared off in the tops frame (probably can be tapped and a new one put in. It still goes up and down manually, but takes a bit more work. Rear window needs to be replaced. You wont get wet in the rain but it does leak down the inside of the window. * There is a nice basball size deep dent on drivers side rear quater panel from someone back in to this car with a trailer hitch.

I see potential, and price is not that far off from its true value. Good luck with sale, its a shame you can't fix it up.
