Im trying to get a suburban for the family, so Im thinking of trading the B4C on one locally (private owners, not dealer lot...I'd get screwed!) so I thought that I would throw another ad up here and see if there is any interest. Found a lifted 86 "Burban for $3K, and offered the car as a trade, but havent heard anything yet. Anybody want to offer me something in the 3-4k range for it? If you have a Suburban you dont want (4x4) but would like a 3rd gen, get a hold of me.

New Bosch III injectors,
700r4

Pioneer cd (nothing Special)
BAD
need valve seals replaced
chin spoiler fubar
interior shows lot of wear
$3500 obo trade for 4x4 Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon etc
If you want to make an offer, the worst that can happen is I say no.

I have a lifted 4x4 Suburban, but I'm way too far away... and I want to keep my Suburban too, lol.
If a really nice highway ride is not a primary concern, by all means, look for an '87-'91. You get lot's of room, reliable fuel injection, usually all power options on the Silverado model, a strong body and a strong drivetrain (compared to the newer body style). If you want to lift it or do much towing, look for a 3/4 ton. And '91 3/4tons even got overdrive like a 1/2ton.
If you really want a smooth ride, go with a new body style. Just keep all moving parts lubed on a regular basis and be prepared to spend some $ if you want to lift it.

Re: 91 B4C L98
My buddy sold his lifted 95 Burban, didnt even ask me if I wanted it...and he wants my car!!! Think Im gonna try for the 91 and older model. Straight axle lift so much cheaper! I still got my 91 RS and a fresh 355 ready to go in...so at least if I sell my B4C, I'll still have a 3rd gen!!!
