ultimate 1987 iroc t top roller

like the title says,if you got an enigne,i have the ultimate roller for you. you will need nothing but an engine and in 2 hours time you can have the iroc you always wanted without doing any of the work and saving months if not years of hard work.its all done for you. i promised my freind my stroekr motor and i will have no use for the roller anymore. im asking 9500 obo. before you jump up and down continue reading. the car witht the motor was appraised at 19,000 by a reputable car museum. you add a quality motor for 2-3k(if you dont have one already) and youre cruising in style for 11k in a car valued at 19000. like i said all you need is an engine. i will include the carb, dizzy, exhaust, serpentine setup and intake if you want a qjet set up. again all you need is a bare long block. i will send pics to all serious pm'ers and will assist with shipping. once again all you need is an engine.(possibly a headliner repair, the last road trip lossened the old one up and there a small area of sagging)again this car needs nothing and has all the upgrades, again its the iroc we all hope to build and drive but never have the money or time to come together.

I've never seen cobra wheels on a third gen before, it looks good. Were any spacers/adapters required?

Re: ultimate 1987 iroc t top roller

i just need this car gone. i need to move on with other hobbies. dont want to but reality is reality.

them wheels needed adaptors for the stud spaicing diff. i got skultes on there. i would have needed spacers anyways to make up the offset. i used them because i want iro looking wheels and 17" with 275's which required 9"wide. the repo iroc wheels in 17"are only 8". i saw these and said good enough.

Re: ultimate 1987 iroc t top roller

no,the engine is still in the car and runs fine. theres a vibration issue that 3 top shops cant agree on. trans guy says its not the engine, driveline guy says its not in driveline but cant say for sure its the engine. engine guy say it may be but can also be exhaust and would like to look at engine closer before pulling it. i dont want to spend anymore money on diagnosis.ive spent almost 1000 and im no closer to a definetive. i told my freind he can have/buy enigne from me. its a bullet proof engine . 4 bolt 400 block, eagle forged stroekr crank, eagle forged h beam rods, forged diamond pistons(i was going to spray this sucker),comp roller cam and roller lifters, roller rockers.......solid motor and would cost 5-7000k to buy an all forged 425 stroker. so the answer to your question is no,the engine isnt a done deal but...............

Re: ultimate 1987 iroc t top roller

yes ...when i started the restoration i disassembled it down to the bare shell..nothign left on the car. sent it to sand blasters. when it came back the areas on the front floors underneath where your feet would go had a small collection of pin holes from the blasting where the metal was thin from surface rust. instead of patching with filler or what not i had those areas cut out and pieced in original rust free floor boards. although not the entire floor board. i tried to retain as much original metal as i could.
