1989 RS with a 305tbi and 700r4 tranny runs good in fact darn good just not perfect wife is fed up either go to tech/general engine board and offer some advice and i'll try it (and maybe i'll have a leg to stand on as far as keeping it) or the price is $1200 nego. ttops don't leak.

and when you buy please be ready to take extra seats,91-92 rear wing, 89 gfx, headliner(board), oem fog lights, and more with you (no extra charge). it has a fabbed hood on it but i do have the oem. 91-92 gfx are on the car right now. new fuel pump and (catback ~generic name brand). ooohhhhh there is a 350 short block for sell too if wanted $400 all kinds of work done to it i bought it with the work already done so here are the specs to the best of my knowledge.

Fresh 40 over 350 block 2 bolt main with arp main studs
Bored and honed with torque plate, decked
Brass freeze plugs with clevite cam bearings
Cast crank turned 10/10 with clevite main bearings
Rebuilt rods with arp wavelock bolts and clevite bearings
Speed Pro Hyperutectic flat top pistons with speed pro moly rings
Assembled with all clearances checked
i was going to get me some books and learn how to turn this thing into a monster so if I can't sell it I'll just keep it and one day i will. It does need honing. just being honest there's a little rust. (surface)

edit: the gfx are in usable condition not perfect but they looked really good on the car i just wanted to put the 91-92 effects on it

 

it pulls real good for a 305v8 but the car has a small miss and i just can't get it out. I did talk my wife into letting put it in the shop one last time to find out exactly what the problem is. 0-70mph is not as good as a 350v8 but it rides real good. mechanic is going to do a compression test. and if nothing major i'm sorry but i'll be keeping it. thanx for the interest. ohh i'm just determined to be an honest guy.
