1989 Camaro RS Rebuilt 305 $2800

Here is the perfect project for someone to put the finishing touches on. Just trying to clean up around the house. $2800

Its a 89 camaro with t-tops, automatic transmission, and 305 V8 engine, fiberglass pin-on cowl hood in fair condition(has crack but its fixable), and like new Firestone Firehawk tires. It was stripped to bare metal and epoxy primed then painted jet black. I replaced a lot of body parts on the car, including the doors, which do not sag at all. Paint is pretty nice driver quality; I spent a lot of time on the quarters and it shows, they are nice and straight. I rushed the bodywork and paint on the doors; they are wavy and had runs in the paint; not bad, but not perfect either(people have looked at car and not noticed). I patched the floor on the drivers side rear footwell, otherwise the floor is pretty solid and rust free. It has not been on road since 05.

I replaced the motor with a rebuilt 305 with chrome Chevrolet valve covers, air cleaner, breather, and oil fill cap($200+ kit) It is an older style engine, i'm not sure of any internal upgrades on the engine, but i do know its .30 over. Has many new parts including new starter, plugs, wires, serpentine belt, hoses, battery, ICM, fuel pump etc. It has hedman headers/y-pipe, and flowmaster exhaust with dual chrome tips. The catalytic converter was eliminated, and smog equipment was removed from the engine.

Engine runs good, but needs switched to carb because of all of the sensors deleted and exhaust/headers. Unless you want to try and replace any/all of the missing sensors. Due to the missing sensors, it will cause the computer to go haywire and advance/retard the timing if trying to drive home, so it needs towed home. You can hear it run and see it runs/moves fine with the computer unplugged. I have an Edelbrock Performer Intake, Edelbrock 500cfm carb, and HEI Distributor included to make the swap... but you'll still need to add a fuel pressure regulator. Original engine is available also, but its junk.

Interior is black/gray and has no tears. The interior plastic pieces are rare, as they are carpeted, and they also include the Bose front kick panels, and Bose speaker panel for the rear hatch. Im missing 1 interior piece that goes in the rear seat area below the speaker grille, and also the headliner. Also has the hatch pulldown feature. It also has a GT Grant steering wheel. Comes with extra speaker grilles and anything else I can find Camaro related.

Needs a few odds and ends to finish it up. T-top to body weatherstrip, emblems, hood pins, a few fasteners here and there.
