1989 Camaro Irocz hardtop, SOLD!
!!!!!!!! SOLD !!!!!!!!
Looking to sell my Camaro project car. Car has been torn down for the last 10 years or so. No motor or Transmission but a lot of goodies already on it. I was looking to build a motor and go with a T56 but never got that far. This was orginally an auto car. Car has a 6 point roll cage and frame connectors. I was looking at building a mild race/street car. All suspension parts are either Spohn or BMR. There is adjustable Spohn lower control arms, Panhard bar, lower control arm relocation brackets and torque arm (with driveshaft loop & 93-97 T56 trans crossmember). Didn't replace the front suspension but it was all taken out, sand blasted and repainted with new poly bushings installed. New tie rods, ball joints, links & Intrax lowering springs were installed. I have the adaptors to put on a upgraded brake kit but haven't gotten around to it. The car still has the stock spindles. The rear end (9 bolt) was taken apart, powder coated black and put back together w/ new bearings, seals & a 3.73 gear. It also has a TA aluminum cover. All the doors have new weather seals.
The body was torn down to bare metal and painted in 2004. It was painted a pearl blue and the heater was taken out and firewall filled. It has the newer style ground affects (91-92 version). I was trying to keep the car a factory look so the original hood was used but I have brand new louvers and inserts for the front bumper. New headlights and turn signals. Also have new factory stickers (stock colors) to go on. There is a scratch on the drivers door (not sure how it happened) but I think the Iroc-Z sticker will cover it up. There is also a area where the clear coat ran on the passenger side of the car behind the back of the passenger door but it just needs some more wet sanding. Im not a body guy so i never attempted to fix it. The under body was all cleaned down, re primed & under coated.
Again there is a 6 point cage in the car. I have two new Sparco racing seats on the camaro brackets. I do have the rear seats (ok shape) but hadn't decided if I was going to use them or not. New carpet, headliner, door panels & top plastic rails for the panels. I have sound eliminator down on the passenger area of the car. New Infinity speakers all around.
Overall the car has a lot of new parts. Just needs a motor, trans and front brakes. I have the factory wheels but the tires will need replaced. You will get everything I have for the car and I know there is more I haven't listed. All receipts will also come in case you need to reference back on anything.
Looking to get $3500 obo. I'm located in Dixon, Il about 100 miles west of Chicago. If interested or if you have any questions call (815) 716-6010 and ask for Derek.

Car: 1989 Iroc
Engine: LT1
Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: 3:73 9 Bolt
Re: 1989 Camaro Irocz hardtop, NEW PRICE!!!
LT1, Comp Cam 306 maybe, other bolt on's, 6 speed, going to take the cage out and make it an enjoyable everyday driver. Some wheels ( not sure on brand yet ) Maybe some Speed Hut gauges. Magnaflow exhaust, Grant Signature series steering wheel. Vintage air and heat.
Just enjoy the car and drive, drive, and drive some more.
