About the car:
1983 Z-28 Camaro, 5-speed T-5 transmission, 305 V8
~110,00 miles
3 owners including myself
clean and clear title in hand
well maintained in terms of regular maintenance
could be your daily driver
recent large purchases (have receipts):
new struts and shocks, less than a year old
new cooper radial GT tires, less than a year old, less than 10K miles since install
rebuilt brake lines
swap from mechanical clutch linkage to hydraulic (search thesofaking on these forums for what that is, has made a huge difference)
things I know need fixing:
some rust around the roof, could be fine if someone has the chance to clean it up
driver's seat needs a new cog or something as its starting to fall down a bit
driver's side mirror got knocked off kilter, haven't had a chance to fix it
something is up with the T-5 (was replaced in 2008) I think its the synchros, makes shifting to 5th difficult sometimes
general:
the engine is in great shape, she always starts right up
there are various body and trim pieces I've accumulated over the years, a bunch of repair etc kits and such, all that will be included with the car as well as the original dash pad (its cracked)
the car needs work as most do, looking for someone who's got more time than me
buyer must be willing to pick up in brooklyn, ny; its very near public transit if that matters
I'm not trying to hide anything that's wrong with the car; I think we all know there's no such thing as a perfect condition 30+ year old vehicle
if you have questions etc please ask; just looking for her to go to a good home, I think shes in solid enough shape that she deserves not to be parted out

I'm sorry man but that roof rust is bad news. That's not easy to fix properly. I'm not trying to be a jerk and it's super cool of you to be honest about it, but that puts this car in kind of a bad spot.

It was a daily driver for me from 2014 to 2017.
The reason it no longer is, I live in the city and have no where and no reason to drive her daily.
Another shot of the rust people seem very concerned about.
