I am looking for a good running, mechanically sound car. Looks don't matter, it doesn't need to have a new paint job, or perfect interior. I just don't want to buy it and have to replace fuel injectors, or find that it uses a lot of oil, etc. Please do not post your car here if you know that it is not an excellent running car.

The cheaper the better, I'm looking to spend somewhere between $1,500-3,000 depending on the mileage and how bad the interior/exterior is. Again, the car must be a GOOD RUNNING car, this will be a daily driver. I'm looking for this to fix up for my girlfriend, and don't have time or money to spend on fixing mechanical problems, but I do have the materials and skills necessary to fix interior and do a good paint job.

*Edit* I forgot to mention what cars I'm looking for:

Preferrably a 1986-1992 IROC-Z or Z28. I have had a TBI car and it was alright, I'd like to steer towards another TPI car if possible, but I will buy the best deal I see. Coupe/T Tops/Convertible...doesn't matter as long as it runs good. Manual and automatic transmissions are both welcome

Hey bud, I've got an 85 sport coupe for sale. fits the description almost perfectly. It's very sound mechanically just needs a little beautification. Paint is rough. that's about it. Its only got a 2.8 (sorry not a gas guzzler) and a 5speed. the car's got a sunroof, and the interior's red. Let me know what you think. I'm askng 1500 as she sits. i've just replaced the starter and the MAFS.

ive got a 91 camaro, runs great, needs new thermomator(it overheats if the air or heat is not on)

It just needs to be repainted, if you buy ill include a gallon of white paint and clear.

Interior in good shape, no cracks in dash anywhere, driver side seat has a rip. thats about it.

t-tops, dual exhaust, cowl hood.

85 Z28 350/ 700R4 lunati cam flowmaster exaust needs paint and alittle body work on bumpers amd there is a little rust starting on wheel well interior overall good shows a little wear but its 20 years old... needs a tune up but still runs pretty good... lots of horsepower 2200obo
