Again, I'm only interested in '91 - '92 Z28's, no built up RS's or late-year'd IROC's(Unless if it's wonderful IROC). I can travel practically anywhere in the US to trailor car home, but if going long distance's, I would prefer a meet-up destination(I am in SW Missouri). I am not looking for any project cars, perferably around the 100k mile range, must be very sound mechnically and cosmetically.

I am much more interested in finding a '91 - '92 Z28 305 Manual(G92 Package), I would consider a hardtop one only if in great shape, but I would love to find a T-Top 305 G92.

If I can't find a 305 Manual Z28, then I probably see myself backing out of the performance scene and looking into purchasing a '91 - '92 Z28 305 Automatic but only in T-Tops(unless if absolutely wonderful) just to have fun with and worry less about.

I will very, very seriously entertain offers to trade Camaro's but more than likely will be a portion of cash on your side to balance the trade. Please PM or email me at camcovert@cableone.net Thanks!

You'll be looking for a long time, as I dont think GM made very many 305 5-speed G92's with t-tops, for the same reason they made very few 350 TPI's with t-tops. The extra power from the G92 dual cat package and better rear gears was too much for the weakened t-top roof. Good luck though!

There are zillion more 305 G92 T-Tops than L98 T-Tops obviously. The L98's only received a handful of FBodies with T-Tops(what, only '92 TA's?), but the G92 package was offered in T-Top's fairly commonly, but yes it is a slightly less common package than having a plain hardtop 305 Z28 Manual.

Cam if you're serious hit me up with a PM. My '90 is for sale right now and you'd know who you're buying from and you know I wouldn't lie to you.

*What's the story with this anyways? Did you sell your Z28?*

Nah buddy! I dropped the motor in a few weeks ago with the new cam and such and it's a hotrod, really performs like it always should'a been doin! I'm loving the car more than ever, but ya know I just moved out, and thought it'd be time to kinda take a step back and start over, not get in over my head like I originally did with this car. But I'm only looking right now, definately not just gonna fling my Camaro out there for anything.

The L98 and t-tops were available in both Birds and Camaros at different times during the production of thirdgens. For '92, the Formula was the only F-body available with this combo.

Good luck in your search.

The G92 305 5-speed T-Top combo wasn't offered by GM during '91-92 so I'd be very surprised if you find this car. Regarless of the motor and to the best of my knowledge G92 was only available in Hardtop's, no T-Top's.

Good luck with the search.

There's some out there... maybe I was wrong on the number of production vehicles, but from what I've understood, they are definately more common than the L98 T-Top cars, but again, I could be wrong.

With how things are going, I'd really be interested in doing a trade, I would love to start over and take it one step at a time.

We're getting sucked into the Manual aspect here...

I will happily take a 305 Automatic T-Top.

Sounds like a nice car, but Cam already has a hardtop L98 car, and he is wanting a 305/T5 car

Re: '91 - '92 Z28 T-Top 305 Manual/Auto
Thanks for keeping an eye out man. But Nick made me do it... finally 'officially' put my car up for sale so that I can possibly afford his IROC. Gone through enough with my car, but no other way to pick up the IROC other than letting the BlueZ go.
