Im looking for a nice clean rust free camaro in or near Pittsburgh. But, as always, theres a few catches.

-No convertibles
-No salvage titles
-No structurally damaged cars
-NO major rust. minimal surface rust but no more. please no rotted floors.
-No show cars. Under $3,000 please.

Heres some cars that i'd be particularly interested in:

-Any blown up, roller, or V6 cars since they are cheaper and could still be in good condition body wise.
-any Irocs/Z28's.
-newer RS

The car will be used as the basis for a weekend warrior project, this is why i need a solid bodied/framed car. I am fairly incapable when it comes to fixing body damage, and rust is not somthing i want to have to even think about. I'm looking for somthing under $3,000 because i have no interest spending big money on a rare or show car that is just gonna be built up.

I have a 91 Z 28 with a 350 TPI would take 2800 runs real strong not rusty or beat up needs a passenger fender which I already have needs paint not body work with the car is included a HSR car has 24# accel injectors but I'm in central Ohio if interested could maybe get you some pics if not good luck in your search

I'm 4 hours north near Buffalo. I have a 86 T-Top roller. It was a v8 auto car. No rust issues. Plan was to create a street/drag car, but to much other stuff to do. Perfect to put what ever you want in. Was originally blue, someone poorly switched it to black. For a race car, you could sand and shoot - no dents or rust. Interior is mostly out, but most is included. I think the door panels are missing.

I saw your want ad on Craigslist which has worked for me in the past. I'm looking for a 4th gen LT1/LS1, so I've been looking around. It's tough - typicaly third gens that get to the point where they are worth less than $1000 end up being parted out or junked. Mine would have been parted and sold to the salvage yard if I didn't pick it up. It's to solid of a car for destroying - hard to find in NY. Looks like it was garaged and not driven in the NY salt much.

actually they do.. ive found several. actually, ive found several for UNDER $2000 as well. 1 as cheap as $800.


and as to the delivery, id love that. The only problem being, that i must, without a doubt, see the car before purchasing. ive been screwed over 1 too many times to even bend that personal rule. If you wanna drive all the way over here and ill just buy it then if its not rusted out, thatd work. But if i saw somthing that i didnt like, id have to turn you away and thatd be one long drive back and forth for a whole pile of nothing.. if your willing to take that risk, more power to you, but im not driving much more then an hour to hour and a half away from Pittsburgh, and i think its a 4+ hour trip.

which brings me to a important point, looking for a car UNDER $2500 for now until my "fun" finances re-accumulate.

 

Settled on price on a 1989 Iroc-Z28. 305TPI hardtop Stick car w/ no rust for only $2000, no longer looking for a car. Thanks alot for all your help though guys!

yes i know you still have your yellow one, and i still want it, but only for the posi rear, hood, and a few other random things.. im not sure if i can bring myself to rip into a car then part it out when it still has potential. And ive already found a solid car that im trying to buy, so keeping it as my final choice is generally out of the question.
