WTT 2nd Gen z28 for third gen plus cash
Basics:
* Firethorn metallic red with original "custom cloth" interior - not vinyl
* 100,9xx original miles
* mw/ml/non-tilt
* factory a/c converted to 134 several years ago the right way with reman compressor, new accumulator/dryer,etc was professionally checked up and recharded a couple days ago with clean bill of health and blows cold, 12 mo/12k mile guarantee on service
* numbers match original 350 with original carb etc
* numbers match original trans is a th350, professionally fully rebuilt with new torque converter and under 100 gentle break in miles (had burned fluid)
* 3.42 rear end
Also had a new harmonic balancer put on due that crappy chevy rubber seal wearing and letting a wobble start.
Also has working rear defog blower, even seat belt buzzer to warn you to buckle up. Doors shut nice and tight, and no rust or rust repair done in its life... still 90% original paint thats a good 5 footer.
Fully documented since new with provenance of all ownership, also has dealer order form, sales slip, delivery checklist, window sticker, build sheet, warranty docs with service stickers that replaced the protect-o-plates, etc. Could make a nice investment car if you want to do a repaint and re-stripe and sit on it.
To save on bandwidth through the site here and not make it re-host pictures that are elsewhere I'm going to link to the ad on another 2nd gen camaro specific forum: http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=190789
Pretty much looking for fair reasonable offers, on a partial trade plus enough cash coming my way. Not looking for a straight even trade as I'd like to have cash to invest in the new car to make it how I'd like. Just to hang a price on it I'll say $9950, but that's negotiable with a nice discount to members that have been here a while.
Book value for a #3 condition is 7100 + 10% for factory ac = just under $8k. For #2 condition its 10150 + 10% of just over $11k. I think the car is deserving of something in between the two due to combination of originality, documentation, and overall condition. Link to some values: http://collectorcarmarket.com/menus/.../78chca28.html
All trades have to be automatic, and not looking for something rusted.. other than that open to considering all offers/options. May also sell outright for the right offer. Let me know any questions or interest, Thanks!
