I built a 355 balance with edelbrock heads rollor cam steathram intake.BMR k frame front tubular a arms, rear BMR torq. arm control arms and panhard bar all adj. rod ends.13" front BEAR and 12" BEAR brakes. In side and paint done only Mods left for next year is 6 speed and for 9" rear end. If any one knows of any for sale let me know thanks. Its been a long 13 year project but seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

They look like deluxe-style IROC seats, but nicely recovered in leather.

Very clean car man, I like the black and white interior, don't see it very much.

JPMZ28, where did you get the seats redone? I see you are friends with wedjim and he lives in Orlando right? How much did that cost you? Thanks.

Re: Pic of my 87 IROC

If the motor wasn't making so much HP the air inlet might not have caught on fire! LOL

You guys should see this car in person!

The interior is Mostly black with some grey(no white, buts may look it in the pics) to break it up.

Fernando's Upholestry will do my interior soon also, .

I'm leaving my engine for last.

Fernando upholstery doesnt like to return calls. Maybe they are too busy? What was the cost to have the upholstery done in leather? I want to get a good idea before even thinking about having it done. When are you guys going back to OLD TOWN so i can see what you have?

He is very busy, but should call you back? Try him a couple more times to make sure it is getting thru.

We will be at Old Town, weather permitting, next Friday. (Saturday today)

VERY nice car! I guess I didn't realize that the BMR strut tower brace would clear the stealth ram? Did you have to mod anything to make it work, or did everything just bolt on and play nice together?

Again, awesome car, well done!

very nice car, excellent attention to detail. there's WAY too much going on in the engine bay though. i like the airbox, but the chrome is kinda cheezy looking with the hose covers everywhere and the chrome wire looms...my opinion...

Re: Pic of my 87 IROC

I have only seen Longboard rims on one other car a 4th gen T/A. I dont think American Racing makes them any more. The strut brace took some work to install, had too remove upper intake and grind down and polish the ridges at the top of the upper intake so they would follow the outline of the strut brace. Then I used aluminum spacers to lift and tilt back the strut brace so it was almost parallel to the intake. Here are some pics

Re: Pic of my 87 IROC

I would say to ask $25,000!

IF you do sell that car......Someone would be getting a bad *** car with A LOT of time, money and effort in it. Brakes, engine, exhaust, tubular suspension, wheels and tires, leather, sound system, awesome paint, aftermarket intake and more!

If someone took a decent IROC into a shop to have all the same work done they would be in for a $30,000+ bill!

If it goes in the HIGH teens, it would be a steal! IT has the trophies to prove it!!!

Re: Pic of my 87 IROC

A 355 has about the same mpg as a 350.What changes gas milage is cam, heads, fuel system and gear. But mine get about 15mpg on average but I dont drive it hard and I have a 308 rear gear.

NICE CAR!.....how did you fit the BMR strut tower brace over the Steathram and still able to use the stock hood?

I thought the two wouldnt fit? heck my ram just barely fits with a piece I had to hack off the underside of the hood.

your engine mounts that worn out? I wouldnt think so...

do tell!

ah ok.....so the brace where it says BMR is basically sitting on top of the plenum? Cause I had a BMR when I used to have TPI and sold it here on the board cause I didnt think it fit.

yeah take better pictures showing the brace on plenum and the shims you had to use.

how much you gonna sk for your car?

give some detailed motor info....hp/tq...etc.

I bought that steering wheel because it gave me more leg room.I was not crazy about the looks of it at first but it grew on me.The clear lights look nice but they are to trendy, with the hood closed I like It to look as stock as possible.
