Nice car! I can see you keep it ingreat shape.
I previously owned a 1992 Z-28 w/305; but I was a little intimidated by the spoiler and hood blisters. I prefer the sleeper look of the RS.

It's got the 350 TPI auto, 4-wheel disc brakes, dual cats with an aftermarket muffler. Not sure what type of muffler, but it has only one outlet which gives it even more of a sleeper look. The exhaust was on it when I bought it in Chicago.
Inside it has all the creature comforts: charcoal cloth seats, air, cruise, factory AM-FM-CD, lockable storage in trunk area. I have a set of subframe connectors but I haven't had them installed yet.

Looks like a nice ride! I wish I had a 350 TPI in my car. Mine is in awesome original shape but I think I would prefer one with a 350 TPI. Maybe I will sell mine and get one with a 350 TPI already in it. I don't know yet...

I'm happy with the car's performance and it's in immaculate condition; and there are so many things I'd like to do but can't afford to.
Yes, I really like this car, and I think the third generation f-bodies are so sweet; but I have it up for sale as we speak. We recently mortgaged a new house and now I can't afford to make the payments on the car. Same old story.(sob)
I took it out of storage in early April and only drove it a few times since then and so I keep it parked in the garage.

I'm asking $20,000 for the '92 amaro B4C. It's a bit much; but I bought the car in Chicago for $13,000 USD. When you do the math and add taxes, duty etc the price goes way up.

Wow that's alot...I hope you get it, it will serve to increase the value of the rest of our cars....but I think it's a little high IMHO.

For $20 000 most people would look at buying a LS1 4th gen before they look at a thirdgen.

Just how rare is the B4C?

There were 589 cars equipped with the B4C option in 1992.

Wow... pas mal de quebecois sur ce site...

On a un groupe assez actif a Montreal...
voici le lien pour l'ancien site-web, il est supposé d'etre revisé bientot.
http://www.mfba.com/

Anglo-version: I posted the link to our old web site for the Montreal F-body group, there should be a revision coming very soon.

Next outing, a fall-colours drive up north, probably the 5th of October. If there's any interest I can post details.

Oh, and here's a pic of my three F-cars.

My GTA's best mileage to date has been 27 mpg (us gallon), in summer 2001 on a Montreal-Toronto stint.

My '98 WS6, though, is the mileage master... 33 mpg best, repeated several times on long distance trips.

My '78 T/A gets it's best mileage sitting in my driveway with the engine off.

Hey Triple.....nice cars man....

I used to own a black '78, sold it to my brother and bought my GTA that I have now.

He still owns my '78 along with my other brothers '77.

I am probably going to pick up a 4th gen convertible in the next couple of years.

I am definately interested in the October 5th drive....I met some of your club members a couple of months ago at the Friday night car show in Laval....

let me know for the ride in October

You know, no matter what technical improvements came with the 4th gen, you just CAN'T replace the driving sensation of a good 3rd gen. Each of my cars offer a different driving experience, and I hope I never have to get rid of any of them. The GTA is definitely with me for the long haul.

You in the west end of town by any chance? I may have spotted your GTA if it was out and about sometime on Thursday late afternoon... I was in my Marauder, so I guess you wouldn't have seen my wave.

We have quite a few 3rd gens participating in events, many of them multi-gen owners. We recently did a few car shows around the area, but the big thing was the parade lap at the Cummins truck race at SteEustache.

I live in Laval...so that probably wasn't me.

Yeah I agree my GTA is with for the long haul as well...I really enjoy the drive, especially with the work I have done to it.

That's the Friday I met 2 members from your group, 1 with a 87 burgandy GTA with SLP package. They mentioned that u'd be doing that. I would've come to that event but I had previous plans already made up.

I am looking forward to hooking up with some fellow 3rd genners and some fellow car guys in the Montreal area...

You guys get together on a regular basis lately?

We used to hit Laval often. I hit Terrebonne once with my Marauder this year but haven't been to Laval. And we used to hog some spots at the Julep on Thursday nights before the r i c e got on my nerves. So I can't say if there have been many get togethers... I myself have been kind of "out of it" due to work pressures, but now that things are better, I'm all gung-ho for enjoying the last few months before winter storage.

The Flame Red GTA you're referring to is probably Serge. He's great when it comes to finding out about car shows to participate in, in the region.

I just went through the pics from St.Eustache...

I met some other club member a couple of weeks ago at Napierville..

Eugenio?? I think that was his name with the SS convertible. We talked abit, nice guy...he never mentioned that he was part of the club, though I never asked!

Are you by any chance Portuguese? The reason I ask is because a few years ago I had contacted someone from the MFBA and asked a question about Walbro fuel pumps. At the time the person who responded mentioned he had a black GTA and a Black RamAir Formula...was that you?

I'm the only black GTA in the group, so yeah it was probably me (Ram Air Trans Am, not Formula, but I won't hold it against you ).

Yes I'm Portuguese...

...and now that you mention it, weren't you getting married at about the time you asked that question?

Eugenio is the guy with the SS Convertible.

Small world.

That's right...thanks for reminding me of his name...I gave him by business card and told him to give me a call, I'd like to plug in my laptop into his ALDL and get a look at what SLP does to their custom chips...still waiting on him.

By the way, the reason I remember portuguese is because my wife id half portuguese....
