Yeah those are getting hard to find. Not too many F-bodies (Firebird is even harder) were made with the 245 km/h speedos and few turn up in wrecking yards anymore.

It was easier in the early 90s when these cars were new and "spoiled little rich kids" got their mommy/daddy to buy them a new IROC/GTA and promptly totaled them in an accident.

Your best bet is to go "junk yard site-seeing" on a regular basis where you just scrounge around a junk yard looking for what's available (as well as networking with others).

Maybe there could be a post where people list what they are looking for and if anyone finds one, let the other guy know. You would be amazed at what turns up from time to time if people know others are looking for certain parts.

 

I have one, but I am not really willing to part with it right now. Unless you find a buyer for my GTA, I'll give it to you as a "seller's fee". Ha, ha.

You could always call David T's in Edmonton, though he'll rape you hard for it I'm sure.

Look at Turbo Sonoma on the classifieds Ryan--thats where I got mine. Good price too. Here lives in BC.

 

Try Paradise Ally in Toronto ..... they usually have that kind of stuff laying around . They only carry camaro/firebird stuff
