Nice first car! I kind of like the color, it's different. You came to the right place TGO has given me more help and ideas than I can count. Make sure you check out the whole site and check the group purchase board often. I've saved some good money there. And I'm about to save more on my hood.

Hm, nice car. Judging by the engine bay shots, I would suggest painting it red. ....again.

Re: my car..
Yes, nice looking GTA but a red engine bay clashes with the yellow exterior.
Looks like some trouble to repaint the engine bay yellow, or like some others suggested, repaint the exterior red.
I would remove the 4th gen decals though, and replace them with originals.

Re: my car..
i bought the car as the yellow with plans to repaint it...
maybe i will go back to the original red... is there a paint code in the car or does anyone know what the original red paint code would be for an 88 t/a?
and yes it was lowered as well... its too low actually.. especially for the crappy roads out here :/
as for the 4th gen decal.. that was on it already...
i'm looking for 3rd gen decals...
any idea where to get them in canada or anywhere to order them for a good price?
i wanted to put original decals back on the car...

'88 GTA paint code WA8979 also known as "Medium Garnet Red Metallic. Go to your local GM dealership and ask for touch up paint #12345171 if you'd like to compare.
As for the decals, the ONLY thing available in the wherehouses at this point is the front end fascia decal with the bird in a silver metallic. Gm part #10051992 original oem part, 3 pieces still in stock at $45 each. Get it before it's gone.
Everything else in terms of decals and emblems, from hood, doors, rocker panels, rear guarter panels and bumper are discontinued.
Try Ebay.
