I was just wondering where I can get a good set of 245/50/16 tires in the GTA. I was looking for Kumho's or something from BFG at a decent price.

I agree with the tire rack.

I have a set of 4 kumho ecsta 712 tires size 255/50/16 that were used less than one season if your interested.

i got my tires at Canadian tire. they seem to only have the size i wanted. everywhere else looked didnt have them so they would have had to order then in.
i paid $135 per tire. and it was there cheapest tire to. they have good deals sometimes! buy one tire get the other half off kind of deals. or buy 3 get 1 free.

I didn't understand why you wrote that. Then I realized I had typed the size wrong.
They are for my stock vette rims so they are 255/50/16.
oops.

Where are you located? Shipping could be the killer.

I'm about 1.5 hours North of Toronto.
PM me your email address if you want me to take some pictures of the tires, measure the tread depth and tell you all the details.

I'm sure we could work something out instead of shipping such a short distance if you want the tires.

Re: Looking for a good tire place
Fred's Tire in Orangeville is fantastic. On my TA they let me see the tire on the stock rim ON the car to see if it was the size I was looking for. It wasn't, so I went up one size and it was perfect.

They sell rims there as well. I got a set for my wifes car, for about $1100 taxes in mounted and balanced. Nexen Tires on 17" MSR rims.
