It's not too late!!!!

I have finished creating my box. Where should I put my subwoofers. I have two 10" polks. I attached an image to try to give a visual on my options.

Option 1: place one sub on the lid of the box and the other in the box facing the back (only about 3/4" behind the sub. The amp will be on the lid too but inset 3/4".

Option 2: place both subs on the lid and the amp behind the seat but before the box attaching it with velcro.

Give me your opinion please.

When I had dual 10"s, I use to have it set up like your option #2, both subs up. I built an amp rack behind the seats. You will need to secure the amp down with something more permanant then velcro.

Is it possible for you to mount the amp right to the box in between your two subs. Or isn't there enough room? What kind of amp are you running anyways?

i think the second one would be better for the subs and it would probably look better in my opinion..i built my box so it can go up on the first level of the back so i can still put my t tops in the lower part of the back. just my input.

Option 2. With option 1 only having 3/4" between the cone and the wall, its not a very good option. You should/would get more output from option 2.

yeah. I decided with #2. The amp I have is an Optimus 260watt 4.3.2 channel. It was built for Radio Shack. I got it for $40 so I am not complaining.
thanks
