Will this box work

Hey

I am making a custom box for my 2 10" rockford subs. The box is built to spec with the right air volume needed. There is only one thing that might be wrong with it. The subs are 10" and the top of the box is 10 1/4". The holes only need to be cut out to 9 1/4". Will the subs fit in fine or do u think that I will run into problems.

sounds like it'll be fine. It shouldn't be hard to tell just by looking. Do you have room to mount it or not?

Yes there is enough room to mount iy but there will only be 1/4" extra on each side after is been mounted.

actually it would be an 1/8 of an inch on each side, because the sub is 10, and the box is 10 1/4 only leaving you with a 1/4 inch divided by 2 gives you 1/8 each side
