Battery Backup?

Has anyone ever seen, or know if it's possible, to devise some sort of battery backup for a head unit, in the event of power loss ? Basically the equivelant of the 9V CMOS backup on a PC (the kind that is a spare in case the main battery fails). I ask because it's kinda annoying having to setup my head unit over and over when I disconnect the battery, which lately has been every weekend.

jc whitney used to carry something like that, you hooked your (volt up to it, and plugged it into the cigarette lighter, and it gave backup power to your stereo, and other things like alarm, i dont know if they carry this anymore though

I've seen them in Pep Boys and other auto stores, too. It's main use is to keep the computer from clearing out it's "driveability" memory. I think it's called a memory saver? Search yahoo.com for "memory cigarette 9V battery" and you should fine something
