component speaker help!!!
i'm trying to install a premier component speaker setup.
on my woofer their are 4 contacts or prongs.......is there a reason for this? i'm only use to the simple 2 and don't want to mess up my speaker.
also, on the crossover......there is a seperate single + side for a -3db tweeter as well as the standard - and + for the tweeter that came with it........what is this for?
please help me out.....

the four prongs, you should check the manual that came with the speakers or look on their website for more info. the -3db is for an alternate way to wire the tweeter. if you feel the tweeter is too loud compaired to the midrange or one side seems louder than the other, you'd use this plug along with the regular tweeter -. just gives you some different options for install.
well that's just it there isn't a manual or wiring diragram.
there are two single wires........each wire goes to a double prong setup on the woofer.
do i just pick one of each or what?

No, because there is only one pair of wires atached to the prongs. A DVC will have 4 wires.
