where to ground amp???

where to ground amp???

can i ground my amp to my battery since it's in the rear as well or do i have to ground it to the frame????

where is the best spot??

I would never ground it to the battery. Some piece of unfinished metal. I have my amp in the trunk of my convertible grounded to the same spot the trunk release motor is grounded. Easy to get to and didn't have to make a new hole.

ground is ground.
i got two optima's in the back and the ground for the amps comes off the battery. mind you the battery is grounded to the frame

Usually the chassis is best, a clean spot, and securely, so it doesn't vibrate loose. Other than that, anywhere where you don't get noise is best

well i had a mind block and couldn't think looking for a quick fix........

i ended up just doing it the right way; just wasn't sure if it could actually hurt anything going straight to the battery.
