Has anyone fooled with the original/rear speaker/sub woofer. Is it worth puling out and repairing the ORIGINAL speaker area in the wing panals? Got a bad garble (sp) just wanted to know if it worth the effort..............

 

if you are absolutely ardent about keeping your stereo stock, then yea its worth it.. otherwise, get some real speakers in there

 

Would those be subs or mid-basses?

Would anybody know what the actual frequency on those where and the ohms? I am trying to restore and keep original.

 

I'm in the same place as you. i want to keep my optioned speaker system but put some bite to it. I forget where I saw it, but you can get 5.25" infiniti kappa perfect crossover system with a 400 watt peak power for $319.00. I might go that route and then put infiniti plates in for the 4 other 4x6". didn't answer your question at all but that my idea and when it happens that combo is going to thump.
