Its a good Idea though. I would put a light in mine if I had one and throw in a on off switch in case I get tired of looking at it.

ya but the whole time you had it on, you would be inducing noise into the stereo system!

there is.. turn off the neons with them so close to the drivers, you're gonna get noise when they're turned on--just a fact. whether or not the noise is loud enough to bother you, that could vary..

i'm not one who likes flashy. and i'm definately not into bandpass boxes. unless you spend a lot of time customizing the box for that specific driver, its gonna sound like crap. i smite thee who puts one into their f-body! SMITE I SAY!!

How about neons near the amps? Would that cause induced noise, also?

i dunno... the amp should have some sort of noise filter, right? I mean, there is an 8 gauge (more or less) power wire going right into the thing. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with this... theoretically I could place the neon at the side of the amp where the power comes in and not have a problem, I assume.

hmmm

Wouldn't it only induce noise in the higher frequencies?

Thats what I heard. If you use them by an amp that is powering higher frequency stuff it will make noise,

but not if you are powering lower frequencies like subs!

I put my neon light right by my amp and it did nothing!
