Front 4x6 speakers

Hello,
I am interested in upgrading the front dash speakers in my '86 Iroc. I was wondering what suggestions you might have for great sound quality and clarity, or if there is any special speakers considering it location pointing directly into the windshield?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

Here is my opinion:
If you have, or plan on using an equalizer, or have a head unit with a built in equalizer, you can use almost any speaker. I just recomend to get a reliable brand, and one with a power range to match your system.

If you're not going to use an eq, you'll have to go to a stereo shop and listen to various brands to see what you like.

In my opinon Mb Quart are great sounding speakers

Just a little advice: Make sure that you can return the speakers you are going buy, in case they dont sound as good in your car as they did on the showroom.
Good luck
