Got my new radio..

I got my Pioneer DEH-7400MP installed in my car. Man I love that radio. It's so nice to listen to CDs again. The rear Kenwood 200 watt 6x9 sound nice too. Now its time for the front speakers. What model # Infinity speakers should I get for the front? How exactly do you replace the front speakers? I don't want to bust nothing or scratch up anything. How do you get the screen thing off?

You dont get the screen off. You have to take that whole dashpad out to get to the 4x6s. The screens are attached from underneath. Infinity Kappas are nice.

Wow I didn't know that Justin. How hard is it to take the dash pad off? I thought I couldn't see any screws to take the screens off. I don't see my screens on the dash much because of a dash cover. How do you take the dash pad off?

Remove the six torx 15 screws under the lip of the dash pad and the four in the center air vents, then just lift it out. It's really easy.

i guess im the lucky ones that had the plastic screws for the 4x6's panels broken. On birds they are seperate, but camaros have the grilles and dash as ones piece.

Taking the dash pad off is real easy; probably as easy as messing with speaker grilles. On my car though, they were phillips head screws, not torx. Thank g0d...
