I know I have 4x6 in the dash but what size are the rear speakers and how hard are they to get to.
Thanks

Most likely they are 6x9's and easy to get out...All you do is take out the screw on the hanger and pull the cover off. take out the screws on the speaker, cut wire and your done
They didn't use 6x9's from the factory in the back because of the lack of clearance. I installed a set and had to set them in pretty low. Sounds great, but was kinda interesting settin them up.

My 91 Convertible had 6.5" junkers in the back and I replaced with 6.75" Rockford Fosgates and it still sounded like crap. There isn't enough space behind the speaker to give it the sound that its capable of. I ended up putting a 8" kicker solobaric in the trunk where the spare tire is to give it the sound that I wanted.
I have a 92 Z28 convertble. all ragtops have 4x6 speakers on the dash and in the back. the back are small because of the clearence when the top goes down. i even had trouble finding a brand of 4x6 speakers that wuld it because of the little clearence. i have talked to some of my frinds and they put the infinity componant 4x6 all the wayaround with a nice 4 channel amp and they said it sounded great. that is what i am doing, along with my custom dual 10 inch box for the trunk. i have dynmatted the entire trunk to make the sound go foreward. it is gonna thump. hope this helps
