What size amp to get to power {4} 12's

What size amp should i get if i want to power 2 12" 8 OHM subs? I am thinking of buying some custome made subs that will fit in the rear arm rest's in my back seat. They will be 12's also. What size amp should i get? Right now i am only running 1 12" on a 100wat amp. I want to get an amp that is big enough to work both 12's well. I really am not sure if i should get the other 2 12's? Thanks!!

I don't know wether you were serious or not.....

I have a 1,200 watt Legacy Amp (BIG SHINEY ONE).......for 4 10" subs.......And it works good....

You can go to the website in my sig and see the 1,000 watt amp i had, but the 1,200 looks exactly the same except it is bigger....

depends on how you plan to wire them, and also how much power they will take

These subs can take alot of power i forget off hand how much they are rated at but it is alot. I was thinking of parallel wireing? I dont know too much about subs except that you need an amp a CD player and a battery in your car. I already have an amp in there like i said but the previous owner installed it so i dont know how he wired it? I was just planning on copying what he had already done.

get at least 500 more would be better.i would either go with rockford fosgate or kicker.or if you have the money get a class d amp.their way more efficent and make better use of the voltage running them.but they aren't cheap

why dont you look into jbl amps, their power series stuff puts out a lot of power at a cheap price. look at the bp600.1 for your application, although you could double the power for about 80 bucks more than the cost of the 600.1 (with the 1200.1)
