Foilded all the inside and tapped it.
PS Redbird; the tech article says to use adhesive to glue another layer of tinfoil ontop of the tinfoil so it's stronger, (I remember you asking) (I didnt do that)

Another pic of the glass laid.
roughly 10 more pics they are only 10-20KB each so it shouldn't hurt 56kers too bad. (I know I need a site, and I will get one)

This is my old sub box
It weighed alot. Had about 3 cubic feet of volume (Way too much for sealed!) The new fiberglass box has a volume of 2.457cuFT.
I Had to trim, (used the grinder!) to grind away some of the board so my new subs would fit. we had to grind OVER half way through the MDF

This shows where I had to grind my old box so that the speakers would fit, But they still didnt fit very well.
You can't really tell in this pic, but if u look hard enough you can see.

Comparing the two subs again, Showing the to pof the magnets,
The thump!'s come with a sweet-looking cover over the magnets.
That would look sweet to show off.

This is my old box setup, It wasn't even air tight because there was a gap that was between the sub rim and the MDF because the woofer couldnt fit all the way down. And they STILL owned the sony's!!!

Again, another pic of the old box setup that my the rear end of my car Sag, and bottem out from the weight.
My fiberglass box is superlight with only one layer, will still be light onece I get 2 or 4.
I'm guessing 12-18lbs. compared to 50-80lbs of my old box.
My car manual says max cargo capacity is 60 lbs or sumtin'

The amp is 250x2 at 2 ohm , or 500x1 at 2 ohm RMS.(whut i run it) and it doesnt even get hot! it's cold when I touch it.

Those thumps are really good speakers? They might be but I know they do make some real cheap stuff. I bough the lowest model at a pawn shop who sold them brand new to bank some extra $. Man they blew with the quickness. They were like 10 bucks brand new. LOL I just had to buy it to find out what that was about. I guess just looks. I'm sure they have good stuff but they also have real bad stuff.

they make 'good' and bad stuff....
These seem to take the power good.
Mobile Authority sells them, but I think myne were made before mobile authority came in cause it says they are made by a different company on the box

yeah. You were over powering them man. The subs are only 500 WAtt RMS. 1000 Watt peak... that explains the botteming out...

I would say ney... unless you get some kinda real expencive sub. But I have heard real good stuff at guitar center. Those kinda speakers just seem to have the right range for a bass guitar. and BTW you have to post more that that man. What kinda Bass guitar, what kinda amp, any other equitment?

Yeah get the ernie *****. Thats all I play on my BC rich. I have that Warlock, A red kramer, White Arial Pro Cat Bass(only two strings on it now) Digitech RP12 FX processor, marshall amp, empty halfstack cab, Creative Extigy 24 bit 5.1 surround external sound card, some handy recording programs, this overpriced POS HP, and some neighbors to bother while I play my guitar through 3 8" spekaers (1 marshall, 1 fender, 1 radioshack replacement) 1 10 inch cerwin HED sub and two 12" cerwinvega floor speakers. All these speaker hooked up and jaming at the same time but they dont seem to care much.

>So who else uses ernie *****? Well check out this page. I tried to take a pic of the back of the pack which has about 50 names on it but the pic just isnt clear enough t read here.

They tryed to get in the front door and failed. So they took a ladder to the back window and got in. This Happend between 10AM to 4 PM!!!!!
All my parents jewelery was stolen ($3500) worth...
Video camera, bunch of other stuff, Business checks that they CASHED (we didnt know they stoll them, they were smart they took them from the back of the book) and a hole bunch of other miscilanious stuff.
Over $5000 worth of stuff gone, stolen, from my house.
Oh yeah...

And my Gibson Electric guitar...

We are getting everything replaced through home insurance.
Cept $1000 of the jewelery wont be replaced cause it only covered 2k worth..

Damn that sux! You could tie a shot gun to the ceiling with a trip wire on the ground. Also put the gunz on the windows. So the next time they try to break in....hehe..... But you cant get drunk ever! Cause that one time you forget BLAM! Hehehehehe..... I bet I could sell that kinda security to some crackhead. So are you getting another Guitar? What kind? Get a effects processor rack! Some pro audio monitors and a 24 bit sound card! Go to Guitar center if you have one and ask them to show you some shat. I could blow off all of that $ in about 5 minutes.
