My friend wants to put 3 of these L5's in his car. He is trying for 145db's. He is pushing them with a 3000 Watt Mono-Block Boss Rev series amp. He wants to see what it would look like if he did. The box will be 40" wide , 12" tall, and 10" across the top. Thanx

just so you know you don't need 3 8" L5's to hit that many db's I hit 147db w/ 2 12" JL w3-d4 and only 250w to each one too. and in my opinoin 2 12" would llok better too.

He likes the looks of the Barics and he wants more than 3. My only quiestion is, will he still be in the Street Class, or will he be bumped up to Super Street. 3 8"s and one amp should still be in Street right?

I believe it is 2 12"s for stret 1-2 you'll be able to compete in street 3-4 though. if you go w/ 15's that puts you into super street.

 

Well, that sux. I will win first place just be-cuz no one has more than 2 subs. But, if someone comes down from somewhere, im gonna get smoked BAD.
