noticeable difference?!

Will amping my front 4x6's make a noticeable difference in clarity/sound than powering them off my Clarion deck?

I am definitely amping my 6x9's and my one 12" pioneer sub... I was just curious if I needed to amp the 4x6's.

I am planning in a year or two to replace them with kickpanels etc.

what do you think?

I can assure you that it really does make a difference. At least it did for me. Back when I was still using the stock locations I had 30W RMS going to the 4x6's and the 6x9's.

I think you'll be disappointed if you only amp the 6x9's. It would pull your soundstage behind you. Decent 4x6's are definately worth amping.

One thing to think about though: I was running aftermarket speakers. Are you planning on using the stock ones or upgrading?

Amping any speaker will make the sound better. An amp will send a cleaner signal than a deck will.

Amping the speaker is definitly a good idea i just didnt do it because i have speakers in my doors.
Mine is set up with the door speakers(MB Quarts) and my 6 x 9's running off my 4 channel and the fron speakers running off my headunit, so i have 6 speaker stereo. I just think the sounds are more even distributed and it soudns really good when you have music comming from all directions in the car:rockon:
