running power wire

running power wire

wheres a good place to run 4 gauge power wire in our vehicles, where have you guys ran ur power wire and rca's?

RCA's = Passenger Side.

You might want to switch sides, depending on where your battery is. Some batteries are on the passenger side, in which case you want the power through the passenger side, as well. If you take the door sill trim off of each side, you can find some power wires already running though one side. These go to the brake lights in the back. Run your 4-gauge through the side that has these wires, put the RCAs through the opposite side, and you're set.

Another option for RCAs, which I've done, is run them through the middle console and under the carpet. It allows for shorter RCA cables, hence cleaner signal.
