First off, you need to make sure that your head unit has the necessary connections (RCA pre-out jacks & amp acc wire)

If your head unit has these connections, just run the wires to the amp. Then run a power and ground wire and you are set.

remote wires are also very nice to have. It should be the Blue wire on the back of your deck (if it has one) it should say "remote" on it. just run it to your amp to the "remote" connection (once again, if the amp has one, which it should). this will turn your amp on and off when you turn your deck on and off.

make sure your ground wire is 3 feet long or LESS, any longer and you could potentially fry the amp

Make sure you have the proper equiptment yes, and make sure your wire ( such as power and ground ) are thick enough to properly serve the power your producing.

i dont know much about that amp, but i believe is has some power to it so if you hook it up to you speakers, be sure you dont have the gains to high or you will blow them, especially if you decide to run the 4x6's of of it. those speakers are fairly efficient, so they dont usually need that much power to be loud.
