Headunits come with a strip of metal with a bunch of holes in them, in case you want to support it from the back. If there was any kind of room in these cars, you could support it, if you wanted to, but it's not really worth the trouble. The screws are all you need.

umm, yeah, but some kits the 4 screws don't only hold the front of the headunit but they added a support to the back off the HU by connecting it to the front of the headunit..ummmmmm not sure how to explain it but it reduced alot of headunit movement on mine which made the bumps have to be that much more severe to get it to skip....the roads are not that good around here...

It is shaped like this

|-----------------------------

Headunit sits in the middle and the front screws into the dash as normal but at the rear a screw goes into the back of the headunit, it basically stiffens up the headunit as to prevent it
from bouncing around.

EDIT: WTF....when i edit the post it looks right but when i post it is off....that 2 bar column is supposed to be as the end of the horzontal dashed line.
