hiding Amp

I'm putting a system in my 82 but want to hide the amp somewhere. Where have you guys put it? I'm thinking under the driver seat. TIA

Hmm.. amps "installed" under seats get dirty, chipped, and are prone to overheating because of a lack of circulation. There any number of better locations, check out people's links to see what they've done. Rear seat installs, rear well installs, above the gas tank, under panels, in the spare tire compartment, in the driver's side storage compartment.... the list goes on.

Do a couple of searches to get an idea of the possibilities. You won't see many amps mounted beneath the front seats though.....

well....

if you have a car similar to mine i suggest you get that hatch cover thingy.. the one thats like a roll of fabric that stretches to your hatch and it covers everything, and when you raise the hatch the material goes with it... its liek a window shade.. anyways i have my amp bolted ontop of the hump... i made braces taht i put underneathe the carpet and bolted the amp to the braces... stupid gas tank.. but no one could ever know i have a stereo.. then, i took KJ Rockz kick a$$ amp box idea nad made one of them and now it looks all cool... soon as i get pics develpoed ill post them.

you could put them in the drivers side little hatch area in the back or somewhere in the spare tire well. the only problems with these is that they may not be water tight. good luck

Put it right here...

Can't see it through the tint, and it stays nice and cool .
