i am getting 2 new speakers for up front on my dash, what size are those speakers? i havent had a chance to look. also the speakers im getting are 180watt max. my cd player is a pioneer with a 200 watt max. i thought about getting an amp, will it make a big difference? i know nothing about amps, what do they do? thanks alot

 

The speakers up on the dash are 4 X 6".

Oh yeah, an amp will make a big difference! Don't believe that the deck is 200 Watts, those aren't 'real' watts.

 

sixe is 4 x 6 and yes amps make a big difference. You will get a louder richer sound out of the speakers. also depends onn what amp you buy. Get a name brand amp (except sony explode) . stay away from cheeap amps like rook wood, jensen, or pyrimind

 

i bought 4 X 6's for my car and they still were too thick.. so watch out for that.. i believe their were polks..

 

they are 4x6 but you will need to get some shallow depth baskets when selecting the speakers.Send me a PM if you need more help or need to get some speakers and/or an amp as I will get you good pricing on those items...
