Which way to install?

Hey, I got my Infinity Reference 4x6 plate speakers in today and was wondering about the install and if it has or will make a difference in sound. When installing them in the dash which side should or have any of you guys found the best sound.

Should I put the tweeter toward the outside of the car or put them towards the inside of the car?

Any difference? in sound.

Thanks

If they fit in ok, I try to put plates in so:
tweeter left of mid on drivers side
tweeter right of mid on pass side

Do you think the sound would be really that much different either way?

Depending on where your seated, there will be one dash speaker that is directly in front of you. You want to try to get the highs as far from center as possible for a stereo effect. Whether a few inches is noticable or not, you will have to decide.

High frequency sounds are heard directly, ie. not from behind a tweeter. So point them towards you as best you can, but like mentioned before, try to make them sound as "stereo" as possible. May or may not be possible though. Good luck
