Anyone used/have one of these sub boxes?

These are standard QLogic stuff, but dang do they look tight!!!
http://www.qlogic.ws/ql-c1ecf210.html

Looking at the box for the 2 12"'s

I have 2 Type-R 12"s that need a home in my trunk. Lots of enclosures out there, but this just looks too slick. Anyone ever used them? Anyone have a tan one they wanna get rid of???

Q logic is way over priced and you are paying about 100-200 more dollars for a plastic cover and tome that just isn`t worth the money

It's up to you

Awhile back, I was looking for a box that would fit and I had looked at the q-logic and was really looking forward to getting that one, but like it was said, it is a lot of money, but if your looking for shows and things like that, it's up to you, but you can get a wood box made and do more customizing of it than a prebuilt, so it depends on what you want, but the sound out of those boxes leaves a little to be desired. I would suggest builging your own.

Good luck

I am just curious about the box. Is it actually a box or just a cover over the hole in the back? If it is an entire box, that would be fine but if it is just a plate that goes over the hole in the back, what is there to stop the air from leaking around the edge of the box. If this happens, then it will decrease the efficency of the subs then they wouldn't be worth the time to get. I am just curious is all because I was thinking of getting one but now I might be back to designing my own fiberglass box.

i assume it is a box since right on the site it says

"HOLDS (2) 12" WOOFERS
2 X .85 CU FT"

since they list the cubic feet right there, it must be a box.

BTW, it looks really kewl, but it would make the factory t-top mounts useless

Virtual Technologies are the best boxes you can buy. They are about $150 for a box for 2 12's, there ported, made of HDF and you put them together yourself. Best on the market, guaranteed.

To me it looks like that top is made of plastic. Isn't that a big no no when it comes to subs? If that's a plastic top, it will be rattling big time. Your best bet would be to go with a wood one that's been fiberglasses all on the inside. I custom built my own, but I'm sure there are some good companies out there that can do this kinda thing.

This is my box that i built in 15hr. I know im slow but this was my first try at making a box. It stops at the largest part of the hole, but 1.1 ft per speaker so they are happy enough, and yea sealed

I have one and I really like it for the looks and the sound. I have two Audiobahn 12" dual voice coil subs in it. It is a two piece box. There is the actual box made out of MDF where the subs sit in. The plastic part you see attaches to the box when you mount the speakers. It actually holds the whole enclosure in place by locking into the plastic panels of the interior. It blends well with the hatch area. Look at Main Street Audio for this, best price I found.
