Need Help Bad!!

I am converting the sail panel speakers in my 86 TA to 6x9's (originally had 4x6's with 5's). I took out the driverside speakers and now there is nowhere to mount the 6x9's! Any ideas?

you need to get the factory metal plate(junkyard) or fabricate one out of wood. i would do the latter of the two.

you could make an attachment plate ? does the speaker fit at all, depth and width wise?? If all else fails you could go a better route and get some quality 6.5 coaxials...

I put a 6.5 component set in my sail panels too. I made a bracket of wood for mine.

I got the speakers from Cartoys for $55 out the door. They are $120-130 speaker anywhere else. They do sound pretty good.
