What is the stock audio set up on a 88 GTA without the U7q subwoofer option. I heard its 4x6 in the dash, 6 1/2 in the sides, and 6x9's in the rear? Also how good are they, im planning on a new head unit and wondering if I should swap speakers.

 

yes thats correct dash 4x6 , doors 6.5 , rear 6x9 if your going to replace the head unit i thinks its a good idea if you replace all the speakers since most head units and amps run at 4 ohms and the stock gm speakers run at 10 ohms plus you'll have a hell of alot nicer sound with after market speakers and a 6 channel amp wouldn't hurt or even a 2 channel amp and run it in mixed mono
