Looking For Pictures Of Boxes
I'm planning on putting subs in my trunk soon, but with the notchback I'm not sure what type of box to get. Anyone with a Notchback that has pictures would be much appreciated.

from the interior shots Redraif posted of her new notchback, it appears that you should still have plenty of room to run any of the boxes that people have made around here, as long as they are no higher than the gas hump. since most of them around here are, you should have no problem with any designs you find around here. if you check out my sig, i have pics of my single 12" sub box. only takes up the bottom half of the well. and since i'm feeling like a nice guy, i'll post one of mine

many people around here use a 2 sub setup. those boxes tend to be level with the gas tank. i still wanted to keep as much space as possible, so i went with one. i was originally going to get two, but after hearing this one on its own with a decent amount of power, i was more than happy with just this one. my suggestion would be to buy good equipment from the get-go. that way, if you buy one quality sub over two sub-par subs, you can always upgrade if you're not satisfied.

Timz, I used to have that box in my Mazda Protoge. Sounds good, huh. Well at least it does with some better speakers than come in the box from the store.

BTW, I used to have 1 sub in my car in a nother homemade box. I was running it with the same amp i'm running the current 2 off of. I thought it sounded good at first, but as soon as I made the box to accomidate 2 drivers, I love the way it sounds.

yeah, not doggin' the speakers that came in it originally. They sounded good. But wait until you get some really good ones. You'll wonder why you didn't get them a while ago. If you're happy, right on man. That's the reason I changed mine out. i wasn't happy with the way it sounded in my old car, so I bought the new ones. Then I sold that and got the camaro and just reused the old subs.

how did you do the fiberglass? That looks freakin' sweet and I would like to get something like that done for my ride just for the looks. Where do you get the materials? Better question...is there a tech article on it, I couldn't find one. Mine may sound pretty good now, but it looks like crap, plus it takesup a grip of room.
unfortunately i didn't really do anything by specs or instructions. I just got some knytex biaxial, cloth, and mat and just went to town. I didn't do it inside the car though, because at the time i had planned to put sound deadener down and didn't want to have no room for it if it was a direct fit. the top piece is 41"x13-5/8". I might be selling it, i dunno how i could ship it though. it's 1.2-1.25 cu/ft.
