Brown Bread Great stuff to work with.

I though that since there were some issues with other sound deadning that i would share my work in progress..

I bought 70ft shop roll, (should have gotten 2)..
From B-Quiet.com www.b-quiet.com . They are in Sask, Canada and I would buy again..

I used heat from heat gun and a wooden roller (from b-quiet). I did the doors and 6x9 speaker area and the rear of the car.

The Doors: Roll up window., take panel off. wipe dirt off (don't have to go crazy, this stuff sticks to everything, even air On the inside of the door (metal where paint is on) I put vert strips about 1-1.5 in apart, all that I could get. The metal that the panel attached to I took plastic off, covered everything I could and put plastic back on. I covered all holes i could as well.

Rest of car I covered everything I though would rattle, sounding off with my knuckles.. looking for that tin sound.. I put the stuff on in 20C heat.. then hit it with the heat gun and then rolled it out. It ain't coming off..

Pics follow..
Haven't finished yet

Warning: as stated before in another post.. the B-Quiet Extreme and B-Quiet Lite doesn't stick well.. Would only use on flat surface where it can't fall off.. then again Brown Bread goes well there too.. SOme friends reccomended the B-Quiet site under the instructions to get Brown Bread or Dynamat extreme only.. as they too learned from there mistakes.. B-Quiets site shows the dynamat to be about 2x the price of Brown Bread.. and about the same sound absorbing properties.. so it wasn't hard for me to make my choice....

I didn't have enough for floor, and stopped short so I would have enough to double up on 6x9 openings + have some for "tweaking"

yeah. I'd say it was tar and tin foil. sticks to just about everything. I dropped a piece on the floor.. was full dirt.. decided it was going to get used anyway on a flat surface.. heated it up.. you'd never know..
Damn stuff will cut you twice just looking at it though. becareful.. I think I drew blood a total of 12 times.. i couldn't believe it.. course I hate gloves

Good job

Looks good, I plan on doing the same next week but instead of using that expensive stuff I brought peel and seal which is the same thing. Only bad thing is I am missing the clear plastic that goes over the door.

I had to rip my plastic too-just replace w/ stuff from the hardware store & stick it on w/ Goop or contact cement.

BTW- Thirim- how much did that stuff cost?
