need help with stereo swap?

ok sadly im putting my old 84 firebird in retire, yes its too old with 300000 plus miles and is ready to go, yesterday i bought a 2002 gran prix fully loaded and now i actually have 20+ mpg and A/C so im so happy but the only thing im not sure about is the stereo euqipment, i know my amp, 6x9s, subs and head unit will fit into the new gran prix but i have no idea how to install this stuff! it did it so easily with my firebird but im not familar with this car now, im sure if someone told my it would be easy but i just need some help, so can someone help me or direct me to like a gran prix forum to get help thanks!

i need help with the:
headunit
6x9s
amp
subs

see i know how to wire it and stuff, no big deal running amp cables and blah blah but the real problem is getting behind the deck cuase i have no idea how to pull the head unit out, thats my main concern and takin off all the panels and whatnot to get to the head unit and 6x9s

so i need to know :
wut needs to come off
and how?

once the head unit is out, ill have no problems with the amp and subs, easily done job there

and in case anyone wanted to know my equipment is
pioneer 50X4 watt mp3 player deh-p7700?????
pioneer 300 watt 4 channel 6x9s
pioneer 500 w 2 channel amp
pioneer 450w subs (2 of them)

im just gonna leave the front speakers and the tweaters as that system should sound very good already with that setup

ok thanks, any help or direction is appreciated

more than likely you wont be able to totally remove the factory head unit, you will have to put it somewhere in the car.

im not sure on the specifics off of the top of my head.

Well, this is the only info I could find for you, and it only cover up to 99 Grand Prix. There might be some similarities for ya though, so take a look:
